Quick Sales Tools

Copy-paste templates and reusable tools — discovery call sheet, prospect tracking, deal prep. Duplicate these into your own docs and make them yours.

Discovery call sheet

Fill in during the initial call — keeps you organized and ensures you ask the right questions. Use this on sales calls, in person or over the phone.

First 5 Deals checklist

Your first deals don't require perfection — they build momentum. Use this checklist alongside the Discovery Call Sheet to track progress through each stage.

→ Open the First 5 Deals checklist (Google Sheet) ↗ — duplicate it and make it yours. Track your first five prospects from cold outreach through submission.

  • Prospect: Friend who owns a business, places you frequent, barber/salon, dry cleaner, markets, delis, hardware stores, gyms.
  • Outreach: Walk in with the Discovery Call Sheet. No pitch — just "I'm looking to help five businesses this month, starting with people I know. Got 10 minutes?"
  • Discovery: Run through the sheet. Get the current processor, volume, and pain points. Ask for last month's statement.
  • Statement review: Calculate effective rate, find three junk fees. Show them the math: "Here's what you're paying vs what I'd quote."
  • Recommendation: One primary, one fallback — tied to THEIR needs, not your inventory.
  • Proposal: Build it same week in Proposal Studio, send it while it's warm.
  • Close: "If these numbers look right on paper, what would it take to get you installed this month?"
  • Submit: Complete docs, post in Deal Desk (Google Chat), update your pipeline.
