Next2Pay Resource Guide
NextPay's house invoicing, gateway, and recurring billing platform — highest margins in the book. Software-first for service businesses, contractors, and subscription models.
What Next2Pay is in the NextPay lineup
- Invoicing: Send professional invoices, track payment status, collect online via link. Integrates with QuickBooks.
- Gateway / Virtual Terminal: Card-not-present processing (phone orders, online, keyed). High-ticket, phone-heavy businesses.
- Recurring Billing: Subscriptions, membership billing, retainers. Card-on-file, auto-charge with dunning (retry failed payments).
- NextLink (optional add-on): Client automation outreach — SMS + email sequences to clients. Separate licensing model.
- Margin: House deal — best economics in the book. No revenue share with external provider.
Next2Pay pricing (software seats + processing)
Tiered per-seat + per-transaction fees + our processing rates. Invoicing, gateway, and recurring can be mixed.
| Invoicing seats | $[USER PROVIDED: price per seat/mo] |
| Gateway / Virtual Terminal | $[USER PROVIDED: monthly gateway fee] + per-transaction |
| Recurring Billing (card-on-file) | $[USER PROVIDED: monthly recurring fee] + per-transaction |
| NextLink (client outreach) | $[USER PROVIDED: per-seat monthly for NextLink] |
| Processing rates | Interchange-plus (best for high-ticket), flat rate, or dual pricing |
Underwriting is strict: 3 months processing + bank statements, Articles of Incorporation, owner ID(s), Plaid connection required. Plan for 5–7 business days.
Conversion & positioning
- If merchant already uses Next2Pay: No conversion — they're locked in. Upsell additional seats, modules (NextLink), or move processing to our rails if applicable.
- If prospect is NOT using Next2Pay: Assess their workflow: Do they invoice? Take phone orders? Need subscriptions? Next2Pay is modular — bundle only what they need. Lead with "No app to learn, integrates with your tools (QuickBooks, Zapier, etc.), and best margin for us means better pricing for you."
Rate conversation
Next2Pay handles both software (seat-based) and processing. For high-ticket merchants, interchange-plus shines — show the per-transaction breakdown vs their current flat rate. For subscription businesses, the card-on-file + dunning logic (automatic retry on failed charges) often pays for itself in recovered revenue.

Qualify the workflow
Interview: Do they invoice? Recurring/subscriptions? Phone orders (CNP)? Online checkout? Each module is separate — don't oversell.
Build the quote
Use the Proposal Studio. Add Invoicing seats + Gateway + Recurring as needed. Quote our processing rate (interchange-plus or flat). Show total monthly cost + per-transaction fees.

Underwriting & approval
NextPay team reviews file (5–7 business days). If declined or flagged, deal escalates to you + merchant for clarification.
