Compensation
How you get paid at NextPay: residuals for life, bonuses per deal, and a promotion path. Your exact split and Schedule A are in your signed agent agreement — this page is the structure.
How the money flows on one deal
The merchant processes
Say $45,000/month in cards on the program you quoted.
Costs come off the top
Buy rates, program costs and card-brand cost — the deal's expenses — are covered first. What the merchant pays minus those costs = the net residual.
You get 50% of the net
Half of the net residual and payouts, every month, for as long as the merchant processes — even if you step away from selling. Run scenarios on the residual calculator.
Bonuses land on top
Activation bonus when the merchant goes live; payroll deals pay their own bonus; monthly closer promos stack.
Activation bonuses
One-time bonuses when the merchant goes live. Stack on top of residuals.
| Product type | Bonus per deal |
|---|---|
| SkyTab / Shift4 POS | $500 |
| All other POS systems | $250 |
| Payment & processing only | Varies by program |
